Zeix FTL! damn tires made me crash

Falken Azenis or some Nitto Neo-Gens are some of the best tire right now and they're pretty decently priced too

Kumho ecsta, falken ziex 512,toyo proxes anythin that u can afford ive alway like kumhos quite on the streets good for a daily. Falken azenis are more for ppl that more suspension upgrades and want to canyon run like 93si^^ aka ricerocket.

Id settle with sumthin good for a dd is this john aka silverteg/cashflow?? Wat up dude hows it been.

I'm not fond of the neo-gen's, but azenis are the best traction possible for the street (so long as it's not raining/snowing). BFG KDW2's are also pretty decent, but not quite the amount of traction as azenis (however they do last longer).

Kuhmo's & Zeix, well they are great daily driver tires that last a long time, but traction sucks with them, so you will lock up your tires or spin or squeal your tires easier=slower accelerating, longer braking distances & slower turns...

lol at tires making you crash. Did you let them drive for a while or what? I don't think the tires can reach the breaks very well, so next time you let the tires drive your car, get some peddle extensions.

Im a big fan of the Azenis for the track car.

The DD usually gets Ziex or Nitto 450s. Bother are realitively inexpensive, have good ALL WEATHER performance, and are fine for the average driver who doesn't try to apex every turn. They last for quite a long time as well.

Just stay away from Kumhossss accidents waiting to happen.

Alot of people run 205/55/16 on that configuration

I like my Kumho Ecstas this is my third set with absolutely no problems. They even lasted quite a while with a major toe issue before finally showing thread, and I still drove them back from Parker to Goodyear before buying another set.

Street = whatever is the cheapest

Track = RT-615's or RS-2's at a minimum

azenis are available in 215-45-16, which the OE 98+ DC2R size

I'll chime in here (7 yrs exp with Discount Tire Co)

there is no 1 best tire.....there are several "best" tires depending on what catagory of tire you looking for

No one on this thread has mentioned a "bad" tire as of yet. You (the OP)need to figure out what the tires needs to do for you.

What is the most important thing the tire needs to do?

-Max dry Grip?
-All weather traction?
-Ride quiet and smooth?
-Last a long time?

The Falken Azenis is a great MAX dry performance tire
The Nitto Neo Gen worked great for a DD tire and worked decent for the track IMO
THe BFG Sport was a great DD tire not so hot at the track, but better ride than Neo Gen
Yokohama S.drive seemes to be better than the 2 above for track, but they seem to wander on the road....225-35-27 size could be the reason for that

Kumho SPT has been another great all around tire bias towards sport....

Falken 512/912 is definately a tire meant for DD/all season and not sport....or very little sport driving

any other questions LMK
