ok will i have a ek, with a poor mans type r with ITBS
now the thing is. i was told by my boy that if i was
to conect my exuast that it would give me tourqe
cuz im running open header right now
but the question is will contecting my exuast help me out?
i have no cat, its just a stright pipe. in place of the cat
so would it help me out, or is it just the same, as me
running open header?

Any exhaust, straight or not, will generate a little more backpressure and yes you'll develop a small amount more tq at the expense of some top end.

I have ran open header many times and it was way too loud and when i would connect the exhaust the low end was a lot better and more torque.

unless its a race car there is no reason for open header.

Wow, street driven = full exhaust.

yeh... its kinda common mechanical sense, torque is developed from back pressure. thats why if you have straight 4 inch piping on a stock motor you lose power all together

you lose power when you run open headers,
