ok so I have a few questions.
I was on my aptop the other day and was on a wirless connection via bluetooth. it was a public connection at a starbucks. All the suddden started getting pop ups saying possible spyware etc. Nothing was out of the ordinary just the system warning me but when i choose to protect it it says i have to purchase something. I will be getting Norton anti Virus today. I just wanna know is it too late for this? is my computer already jacked up now? it was running a little slower than normal.

also one other question anyone knwo about the broadband stuff that cricket now offers? is it any good?

Thanks guys

Dont get Norton! Norton sucks, it makes your computer slower. Kaspersky is the way to go.

Those are just cleverly designed popups, don't ever click on them.

I wouldn't run any virus scanner software. Only way your getting viruses is if your dumb enough to click bad links and so on. As far as the message that you got. That was referring to spyware, and therefore buying norton or mcafee or any of those products really won't help.

www.download.com

get adaware, spybot search and destroy

run both a couple times and that should take away 100% of the spyware you have on your computer if you do. Other than those annoying tracking cookies....

If you feel like dropping your computer off in anthem with your vista cd i'll do a backup of everything you want, wipe it, and make it safe/secure.
