i read around n a con to having a rsx is that not only is it discontinued.

its a bitch to fix if tranny breaks

3rd gear has lots of problems???

only feature over the si, is leather lol civic has lsd

I'd buy a dictionary before you get either of those.

they would be the same power plant so i couldnt imagine how much more expensive it would be to fix then the other once.

I wouldn't get either, for the money I'd rather have a better handling, more powerful s2000...

I'd say RSX type-S. Its got a better int. than the '07 Si. To me I don't really like the drive by wire tranny on the Si. Oh and the RSX has about 20hp more. But thats just opinion. Get what YOU want dood. Remeber you got drop all that cash on your own car. Get what you like. It would suck if you end up regretting it later...

The RSX has a lot of problems with third gear? I've heard the SI has even more...

so it seems from the thread thanks to JoePa2624, that 08 models won't have 3rd gear prob/popping out problem or dealership can fix it even if the vehicle is out of warrenty or mileage of the warrenty.

is there a fix on it for the rsx? or thread about it also?

As for performance RSX-S > Civic Si
As for overall looks (interior and exterior) Civic Si > RSX-S.

For some reason the Si felt alot slower to me but, it does IMO look better. the 4 door looks great to me. Not saying the RSX looks bad and IMO the interior of the Si is just plain sweet.

yea i've been thinking about that too.

i really think if u do the exterior right. you can make an si look real good but. then again rsx with even just a few minor touch ups looks amazing also

I think the SI coupe is ugly. The sedan is bad ass though!

For me it would be sedan vs rsx...If i was single I'd get the RSX, but since I'm married with a kid i would get the SI sedan.
But like someone else said, S2000 > rsx, si, etc

yeah good point. yea i was thinking about getting a coupe.

if u notice most cars arn't 2 door anymore and the only time cars were in its prime for 2 doors was in the 90's. i mean all the best 2 doors came out then.

now n days its all about 4 door sports cars. evo,sti,srt4 etc.

ha wats with the s2000??

n e big selling points as far as s2000?

My homie, (20SI08) bought an 08 Si coupe and I bought an 05 RSX-S. He wants to trade his caR already and I want to boost mine. He just isn't happy and he seems to like RSX's better. He has said 2 times that he wished he bought an RSX instead.

I love my car but sometimes wonder why I didn't buy an STI or EVO for similar $. Ehh.

Side Note: Child car-seats suck bad in the RSX. If you have kids, consider something else.

any benefits of the s2k? Um its RWD, its a Vert, it handles like a go kart. It loves boost just as much as the K-series. They are the sex. They are just as cheap for a used one if you look hard enough. They are the sex. ummm. they are the sex. did i already say that?
