ok my friend works at checkers,( thats how i get hook ups )

and he told me that buying a used compressor is wisky,and if it sits to long,it goes bad?

so how long can i sit,also should it b rapped or something????

i don't wanna buy a compressor,that is bad

The compressor would be fine if it is sealed, and has oil in it, if it sits for a long time without oil is will rust the internal parts of the compressor.

ive seen them sit unsealed and shit go good for as long as a couple months...

really depends on how much moisture is in the air, right now a hell of alot, so the moisture settles inside the compressor and causes rusting of the internal parts of the compressor, than they tend to blow up..

I just bought a brand new complete compressor from Napa saturday for $251 with a warranty. They even have a complete kit for $328 I think. Napa by far has better quality parts than anyone besides the dealers. Cheaper than any other place even a reman. Checkers reman was going for $248 and Autozone was going for $328. I would buy a new one, i bought a compressor from some one on here and it had a bad clutch.
