i drive down that road twice a day once to scottsdale and once back to peoria and i havent seen camera vans on the side of the road... and yes the camera's are off i forgot and passed one doing 85... :( could have been horrible if it was on but it wasnt to my luck plus on the radars they have black trash bags on them so i doubt they can scan u through those things.....

this is just the shittiest state to drive in. Not only do they hand out tickets like candy on halloween, but they suspended licenses like a motherfucker too. I dont even get why we have the point system, because if you get a ticket, but you go to class for it...if you receive another citation within 12months, your license is suspended. What the fuck is the point of the point system?

They also waste more time and money than any other state when it comes to paying citations. If you get a criminal ticket, it takes over a month to get it solved. In california, you get a ticket, civil or criminal, you just go down and pay the fine, the end.

Arizona is just getting power and money hungry. That saying about where there are more laws than freedoms is happening here, I just hope Im outta here before shit really hits the fan.

Bullshit who the hell drive 55mph on the 202 ! I got a letter in the mail saying I didn't have to go to court for a photo radar ticket in Tempe and I won the case by fighting it. Never got a letter even saying I had to go to court and I didn't fight anything . Weird don't even remember going to Tempe in June !

ADOT dropped the speed limit in certian sections of the 101 and 202 and have the mobile speed vans setup to nab speeders to make up for the budget shortfall we're in right now. they are hiding the vans in the HOV lane that is under construction to catch you off guard, so if your traveling 70 thinking your driving withing in the law and your in a 55 zone that they lowered and your not aware, you have to pay. and as someone listed up earlier, if you get 2 infractions within a year your license will be suspended.

advise-get a radar dector, that is your best defense from the vans aside from watching out for the speed limit signs.

I hate those cameras, the red light cameras, the speeding cameras and those vans that sit on the freeway.

if you want to avoid getting points in your license or possibly get your license suspended this tricks the system.

next time you get a ticket via mail that has your picture pay for it, but instead of paying for the amount of the ticket, overpay it this will leave your case open and when they send you a refund check don't cash it and they can never close your case and that means the records will never get to the MVD for processing. it's a trick a traffic school instructor told me.

just another way keep speeding and never get caught, metaphorically speaking...
