I will say he was a nice guy. From the sound of it he's also done well for himself and can afford the risk of higher insurance rates.

I just hate dealing with adjusters, dropping off a car, dealing with a rental, and NEVER getting my car back in the same shape it was in. Customer service sucks and I have to go though it all over again.

dude, if you get to pick the shop, consider T&S Body Works in Tempe(480-491-9100). My car got DEMOLISHED by a lifted suburban. The lady never saw my car, and backed up over it. Had to replace the hood, both fenders, grille, front bumper, hood latch, radiator, and headlights. These guys got my car done in 2 weeks. The new parts had great fitment, and the new paint job looked better than stock. I'd never go to them if I was paying because they are $$$$$, but if the other guy's insurance is paying, they do :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:  work. Here's a pic of my front end 2 years AFTER T&S fixed it.

None of this shit ever costs me more than my $250 deductible. This one wasn't my fault so I'll pay nothing.
