I'm sure most everyone has seen some events, hard to miss.

So far the 4x100 Men's Relay was my favorite. The first event I watched was Women's fencing where the US girls swept the medals.

Alicia Sacramone is a beautiful woman, but she didnt come thru with her performance. i know the mens team gymnastics was not gonna win gold but the womans had a good chance in the team competition. Alicia's fall off the beam on her extremely difficult mount and routine is what set the tone for her on the beam and floor exercise. US failed to capitalize on china's poor beam score.

I felt bad cuz Alicia looked crushed after she was done with her floor exercise which she fell doing a front flip. not even a perfect performance from Johnson and Luikin could of saved US going into the floor exercise.

Im sure Alicia will do great in the all around later tonight to redeem herself. i wish her and the womans team luck and when Alicia comes back to the state she will definitely be having my babies!!!!

This is correct, he would have definitely made a better time and had a stronger based world record which would be hard to beat. I feel that his showboating and conduct didn't reflect what the Olympics are all about. Ill be the first to say that he will prob be in the history books for a while but thats not the way an athlete would wanna be remembered in the history books.

i personally think after the olympics are over there is going to be some fall out from the chinese winning all the medals in the gym events. some of that shit seems rigged, yes im prob saying that cause america came in second in all those events, but honestly, home country, home advantage.

the age thing is kinda a problem, but that stupid tie break shit was dumb as fuck, they have the same score, either make them go on another event, or give them both golds....what the fuck.

the shit is so subjective anyway, its not based on a time, or a height, or a distance, its based on what the judges felt, so if the judges all felt they should have the same score, then they should both get the same fucking medal.

I'm just baffled that a girl who landed a vault on her fucking knees can medal over a girl who had 2 solid vaults. I mean, yeah she did 2 little hops on her landings, but they were solid vaults. Then along comes a girl who lands with her knees, and she takes the American girl's spot in the medal standings?!?!?!?!?!?

And seriously, it's American or not, that would have been a travesty no matter what countries were involved.

Obviously you have to factor in the other shit (her hands were off, her leg was akward through the whole vault, etc.).
