Finally Got 1!

:clapper: Happy to announce I am a proud 4 day and counting owner of a S2000. Picked it up from bell honda on labor day. It's a 2006 bone stock under warranty and is in the color I've always wanted Laguna Blue Pearl. Car is badass, completely different than the accord, 2 preludes, and 2 civics I have owned.:wave1:

As of right now OEM front lip possible side strikes, OEM or mugen hard top, zeal or tein coils, no idea for wheels yet so many choices, possible rear diffuser nothing crazy, motor realitively stock besides bolt ons due to my extended warranty, that's pretty much it for now no 2jz swaps with silvia diffs or anything LOL! Oh but a cusco cage for sure hopefully around Xmas haha.

I would just get cheaper coilovers if you don't plan on tracking the car. Actually, coilovers like k-sports perform great for a fraction of the price.

Go aggressive sizes for wheels, I'm tired of seeing s2ks with stockish offsets...flush ftw! and if you need help rolling/pulling your fenders then lmk :hello:

Yeah took me forever it seems like to save for one or even make enough money at a job to make payments, you won't regret it keep saving they will only get cheaper.

they were 17x9 +44 offset with 225/45/17 fronts and 255/40/17 rears. It didn't rub on track during hard corners unless there was a passenger with me, weighing about 180-200lbs. I could of set the coilovers to be more stiff, but there was no need as it was a good street/track setup. With more pulling in the rear, that would have gone away, or if I ran more negative camber.

its not the size of the wheel, but the offset. There are some flush 7 and 8 inch wheels, but they are very low offsets to make them sit flush.

I agree on buddyclubs though....are you on N+ or Race spec? I'm rocking the N+ in the garage right now :lol: they'll be back on this weekend though :clap:

No drifting here, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try maybe I will have NSXR show me some pointers since he gets mad sideways, fucking nissans, and the 2006 has the VSA on off button so that makes it more drift friendly with it off.
