Stud install

So Im gonna be installing one of my exhaust manifold studs on my ek, is there a speacal way to do this? Do I just hand tighten them? Is there a specail tool to use to install?

tighten two nuts together on the outside of the stud and use that to tighten the stud onto the block, and when you install your manifold i believe you tighten the middle nuts first and work your way out in an up and down back and forth pattern, and retighten them once you go through everything
