Yeah cuz you can put a B series in a 08 civic :idiot:
If your really looking for performance theres a couple options.
Option A
You get basic mods like downpipe, intake exaust and still enjoy your 30+mpg
option B
you turbo it, which some have done with a greddy kit. But you will run into problems(maybe) with the head over heating and cracking, or the intake manifiold will over heat and blow up like a balloon, since its plastic.
Option C
You K swap it. Which will be very expensive, because you are dealing with a new drive by wire system. So you will have to use a 06si head with whatever block you use, si harness, 06 up ecu and have it rechipped for your imobileizer, you will have to redo the whole shifter assembly. All ends up in a headache and a lot of money
Option D
You trade in your car for a si, and save you alot of money in the end.

personally i would just throw an intake and muffler on it, then work on exterior mods. just make it look nice and enjoy the car for what it was made for... to drive everyday and get good gas mileage.

Non Si's are NOT 23. You can get a Si for that price. Non Si's are not even in the 20's
