so i got my eg hatch a couple weeks ago and jst recently got
into a fender bender...
i got a new front end but the front bumber dont line up with the headlights..
also the left side of the front bumber is lower than the right and i have to push in the
hood for it to close...
any1 kno how hard is it to replace the core support??

not to hard you just got to drill out all the spot welds holding it in place. the hard part is squring out the suport.but once you squre it, weld it.

x2 square it and level it and then double check before making final welds

I just got finished doing this. I'm happy as hell that I did this myself instead of paying a body shop to do it. Quoted $900 for everything, bought a new core support for $90 I think, and welded it myself at a machine shop for $100. Took about four hours to do, taking the old one off was the longest part without a doubt.
