Opinion on Header DC5..

Im thinking of getting a header for my 02 rsx base model, but cant find the best brand... what do u guys got and how does it sound, like before u put it on, compared to after - like sounds legit, or sounds like pure rice !

Custom Race Header. I dont know what they have for base RSX but Buddy CLub, Toda, Hytech all make great headers just go to dish out money

Not sure when it comes to a base but if..

..you got the money: SSR, Toda, Buddy Club, Hytech.

..you're on a budget: DC, Strup, Vibrant, Megan, OBX.

I have the DC for my type-s. It sounds really good with my SP2. But, I'm probably going to upgrade to a SSR or Toda here pretty soon.

And definently get a race header that deletes the cat. A shorty that retains it is a waste of money. :thumbsup:

whatever you do dont get megan. i will be selling my shorty DC headder after i get a full race headder.

i say buddy club rh, for the money its pretty good, and if you have a good catback it sounds tits

go race header full length or dont do anything at all. a dc raceheader will do just fine on a base model

well ive been searching and i guess the major brands dont have Full Header, jus the shorty pipe... so that means i have to get a test pipe. Well worth it, i want one so bad now ahahahah

what major brands? just get a test pipe and dont do the shorty header

x2 if you cant find anything rock a stock type s header for your base it will be somewhat better.

you can use a type-s midpipe and use a type-s header. midpipes should be pretty simple to get ahold of

it should fit, i installed my stock type s header on his base auto it fit fine.

the header will fit idk bout the type s cat to base b pipe will fit. but for sure the the type s header and cat will fit for anything else that is after market for the s.
