si check engine light

Hey has anyone else had a problem with the eld in an si? My check engine light is on and when I checked the code I believe its the p1298 with is low circut and I read up on it and it says thats caused by a bad ELD but if that was bad wouldnt it be draining my battery or am I wrong. Has anyone had this code if so do you know how to get rid of it? I checked all my fuses they are all fine no shorts anywhere.

check your under dash fuses again just to make sure. the fuse you want i believe is a 15A fuse. if not then have your battery or altenator checked out.

it is the time of the year when either of them take a dump due to the weather change.

its probably just a loose wire prob...if not just wiggle the harnes on the alternator

i got the same code man
