Random Snapshot Contest???

Looks like this section has gotten a good response. I was wondering if maybe some of you guys would be interesting in holding a monthly/bimonthly photo contest?

I think it'd be a great way to encourage creativity and push those that are just starting out to learn a bit more about it.

This is kind of what I have in mind:


Each month/bimonth a 'subject' would be announced
There will be a deadline for pictures to be submitted
no signatures on pictures, must remain anonymous to avoid 'favorites'
voting will be done by our peers


Any interest in this? Or is it too soon? :)

With more topics like this, I would even go as far to say that the winners of this should be compiled and exhibited at some point. There's some serious talent with a camera on here, so why not show it off?
