Removing rear H emblem

Wondering how the rear H emblem can be removed. I know there is supposed to be two prongs that stick into the trunk. Does this pop out from the trunk or just putty knife and try to get it that way? If anybody has a picture or two of the process would love to see it. going to paint my emblem today.

ummm mine just came off by pulling on it...not sure if that was the right way though...i am painting mine again today too!

figured it out. I just painted it. Wish the front one came off that easy.

I almost cracked mine. Then I just decided to mask it off and paint that way.

what color did you guys paint the H. i was thinking of taking off the H emblem off my stock grill and putting it on my grill i have right now but idk if it would look good

yeah mines black with purple pocadots. I wasn't sure if it'd be cool at first but it's really grown on me. Some dude in downtown phoenix came up dude that's fucking sick to me the other day.

the purple will really accent the blue of your car...good choice
