confused about k-pro!?!?!?

ok im wondering if anybody can help me out with what i dont understand. I wanna get a k-pro for my 2006 rsx type s. But i keep hearing different things from other people and it just keeps throwing me around in circles. so my questions is that, if i wanna go k-pro do i need to get an 02-04 ECU and O2 sensor to do this?:but:

Im not to sure on it but i kinda remeber reading something on that. But i belive it's where when your driving and shifting gears it keep's you from over shifting into reverse...like when you shift from 4th into 5th you wont go to far over and put into reverse......:but:but dont belive me just yet cuz like i said i kinda remember reading about it but my answer to that is not to solid. maybe someone will answer that for us soon. cuz it would be nice to know to sure.
