i was at the dragstrip and after i hit the 2nd stage the tree hit green.....but when i launched in my CB7 my tires just bounced for about 1-2 seconds....my question is why would it have bounced like that? and how can i stop it from doin it again next time?? cause i got :bananaman: by a 97 civic (NO OFFENCE to civics)

possible causes of wheel hop:
you sucking at launching,
motor mount/mounts being worn or torn excssively,
worn shocks or struts,
you suck at launching

Not experienced with drag racing whatsoever but I've made a few passes.
My guess is launch rpm, tire pressure... Like I said I'm not a drag racer.
I would like to see what the pros think

You need to fix those motor mounts as well! Those will probably fix most of your issues...still work on the launching though ;)

4500 is a little high to launch at next time i would start at 3000 and if you still get wheel hop bring it doen 300 to 500 rpms and try again. also do not dump the clutch or you will just sit there and spin like you described

yea man tha strip and tha street are two diff thing...tha strip is way much more stickier than tha street and ur 4500rpm is to high...i usually lunch mine at 2500rpm n i get a good lunch with lil wheel spin...plus when u sppinn tire u lose time... so just practice is and fix tha mounts cuz tha loses time to..
