well my mom gave me her old Canon EOS 630 flim kind. i want to pick up a new on layway or used some how Canon DSLR. but my moms Canon has a butt load of lens. i was woundering if the lens are interchangable with the dslr. so i dont have to waste my cash on new lenses and crap like that.

YES! They should fit! The AutoFocus may NOT work but as far as fitting on the actual camera, they should be fine.

they will work. autofocus should be the same as canon doesn't ever put a motor in the body like nikon. the only difference will be some of the ttl metering.

it uses ef lenses just like the dslrs the only difference between them is that the lenses will crop some of the frame since they are intended for film which is much larger than the sensor in the digitals unless it's a 5d.

great info... I forgot that Canon has the A/F in the cameras and not the lens.

lol. should it should work fine though? cuase i never knew my mom had a camera like that untill i showed here what kind of camera i was trying to get. then she busted out with one. i may just use hers for a while untill i save money for a dslr
