Has any one on AZHT do this ??? if so i want to know the process and need to look for local fabric store so i can get some of the material. i found this thread pretty nice and maybe will save us some money by just doing this :

I have eg panels in my car that look exactly like this! I bought em that way though.. I'll post a pic for you later

i did this to my panels because the previous owner had them pretty dirty but its really easy and came out great. But ya i got the fabric and spray adhesive from joanns both for like 25 total

what did you guys use to re-attach the arm rest to the panel? I did this to my eg i had along time ago and it was a bitch...i used screws and wasnt happy about it...

Sum cars have lil clips when takin off panels.

My old car was easy sum screws dats it.

On my teg just sum clips and the inserts come out.

those look sik. back in the day when i did my ex's car with a custom fabric it came out good and i tried to melt the rivits back with wax but didn't work so i used screws too. might try this again to my pannels except i would spray the pannel black if you want that true CTR look

if you want good quality dont go to joannes.

go to santa barbara upholstry in downtown glendale just south of 54th ave

place is freaking bomb...i bought some awesome suede for my headliner and door panels there.door panels came out great...i'm still waiting for help with my headliner tho but great quality and good prices

how do the screws stay fasioned? are there nuts on the back side.

Yeah we only the door insert. You can also do the armrest on the door panel but I just thought it would pretty dirty pretty fast.

We put the red suede on top of the stock gray cloth. The suede its pretty thin compared to the stock cloth one. So maybe thats why it look darker.

yeah thats what i was refuring to thx... maybe it is the lighting. but i think some civics came out with leather interior and darker interior mines just an lx so no leather but it could be the lighting

If anyone has done black suede on the headliners and doors post up a picture :D I'm getting ready to do this myself in the EG. I've already painted all my trim pieces how I want them but need to go get some suede for the headliners and doors.

cant wait to post this late tonight
only thing that kinda didnt turn out so great was the fabric was kinda thin so the window crank has a space behind it.

Just did mine, spent less then $30 for the adhesive and upholstery, check out H & R fabrics off of 35th ave, they got a grip of upholstery.

theres so many diy for this kind of mod.. just google diy ctr panels an youll come across many step by step guides...

I did something like this just for the hell of it a while back. I picked up a complete S interior for the yaris but had my old doors left over. I found some grizzly fur at Joanns and thought it would be funny to do
