Got my emmissions shizzle taken care of this AM which leaves me 2 nights to get the track exhaust/valvecover back on, sort out my Atari of an ECU, and get some ballast holders fabbed up so I drop down to TA-A and rumble with the turdle.

Wow it looks like A LOT of cars are gunning for TA-A.. This should make for a big payout and a heated event. I like it and should be fun to watch. Someone HAS to get pictures for this. How about you Jeremy... can you shoot at all or are you staging cars?

a ttc civic that is a couple points from b and a pt-b race car ending up in ta-a is a bit of a stretch. Tage reworked the classes so theres an even distribution... now theres like 6 ta-a cars and 10 b cars.

a ttc civic that is a couple points from b and a pt-b race car ending up in ta-a is a bit of a stretch. Tage reworked the classes so theres an even distribution... now theres like 12 ta-a cars and 6 b cars.

I think it's awesome to see the classes grow. I think there's a lot of cars in TA-A simply because people thought it would initially be a soft class. There didn't used to be hardly anyone in TA-A. They all used to be in B and C so we simply flip flopped the cars to the other side. I think as the TA grows (which I do plan to do), we will see a more even distribution within the classes. The good drivers will always have an advantage of some sort but what makes motorsports fun at the same time is who can build the best cars. If you want to be competitive (even in amature motorsports) you need to be able to have the best combination of "car & driver"...

P.S. If things go as planned it wouldn't surprise me to see 32+ cars in the TA in 2010.

Congrats to Phil, mackin it with a 13.0!!!

Hopefully, I'll have my car fixed before the next event so I can come play with you guys. Sitting there all day watching you guys was torture. :(

i can whine about my old ass toyos but even on new ones a 1:13 flat would have been hard to beat.
eric jacobson and his pumpkin are gonna be tough to beat too, he hit a 1.13 flat on new hoosiers in his last ta session.

ok i will brag... i hit a 15.3 with a 2600 lb car and 157 hp. You do the math. My second time attack ever...and i knocked over 2 seconds off my last TA... i am totally stoked about that kind of time and to back it up having tage drive the car and whipping out a 14.3....oh yeah there is lots left in that little track car. I was totally satisfied and glad to enjoy my last track event by turning that lap time. I wish i could be here to see what she can really do. I have traded in my driving helmet for galoshes and a raincoat. Hopefully see you all again one day at a track event in the years to come.

ok i will brag... i hit a 15.3 with a 2600 lb car and 157 hp. You do the math. My second time attack ever...and i knocked over 2 seconds off my last TA... i am totally stoked about that kind of time and to back it up having tage drive the car and whipping out a 14.3....oh yeah there is lots left in that little track car.
