Getting away from the cold... Shots from vacation in Tucson

I know some of you guys on here, some of you know me, I used to live out here, but moved back to Chicago 2 years ago. I'm on vacation visiting my parents/friends in Tucson for a week or so, and I have absolutely jack shit to do, but a new camera/equipment to play with, so I'll be shooting away the whole time.

I took some shots of Rick's evo tonight, and I told him I'd post them up, so I thought I'd just make a thread of my pictures from my trip. BTW, any of you guys on here that know me, if you want some shots of your car while I'm in town, hit me or Carsey up, I lost almost everyones numbers when I got my new phone (still have the same number tho).

good thing you are out of Chicago right now, I am here in Newark New Jersey and mid western and east coast are going to get blasted with freezing cold weather, I heard Chicago has been like -4 degrees, this past weekend we got 6 inches of snow in about 5 hours.

Man I love these. What gear do you use. I love how well you picked up stars on the last shot (can you post this in a 1440x900?). The backyard pics have such a soft feel to them too.

Yeah, its been at least -20's with the windchill since I've gotten out here... Definitely picked the right time to come out.

I grew up in Northbrook, in the northern suburbs, but right now I live in Lakeview on the north side.

i like the wide ones just not the distortion.

I like the distortion in some shots... I just got the fisheye, so that's why I'm overusing it right now.
