nitrous misfire

ok so i just hooked my nitrous kit on this morning. and took it for a test drive. and everytime i hit the switch it misfires. did anyone else have this problem and if yes how can i fix it. the kit is a NOS wet shot and its on a d16y7. i bought the kit with 75 jets. and thats what im thinking the problem is. to much nitrous

what rpm are you hitting it at? my friend blew his cold air intake apart on a 75 dry shot when he had a back fire at to low of an rpm...and what temp plugs are you using to? is your timing retarded enough? those play a factor as well

Make sure ur jets arent backwards. Fuel and no2. That will cause it

my plugs are 2 degrees lower then stock plugs. and my timing is stock. and i only hit it at high rpms.

jets are in the correct way.

i think im just using to big of a shot.

try retarding it on the distributor first

ok thanks guys but it was the timing that was fucked up i found out the problem. lol i just didnt have any nitrous in the bottle so all it was sraying was air and fuel lmao
