So, since the time when I use to live in Colorado (3 years ago) Ive been running Mobil 10-30w on my set-up. But recently, a good number of people on F/I forums have been saying using Rotella T (usually for diesel cars) is a much better for hotter climates such as here in AZ.

Does anyone run Rotella T 15-40w? Or what oils have you guys had best experience with here in the desert?

I've never tried Rotella but Whatever you do DO NOT use Quaker state oil. I tried it because of the price and the fact I was going to have to change my oil again a week later. When it came out it was so dame runny I have never seen anything like it.

Ive personally used Rotella 15w40 and mostly straight 30w. Never had problems and works better than of the other shit ive used in the past. Id recommend it. It works great in this hot ass desert.

I don't think I'd use rotella in a gas application, nor would I use it because some random dipshits on a forum *think* it works better.

Have your oil analyzed and then see what they recommend.

I know some of the STI guys are switching to Diesel oil. check out the Nasioc forums as they probably have more general info about it.
