I'm not sure if a similar thread has already been started, but I couldn't find one. So, I thought it would be interesting for people to explain how or why they chose their screen name and avatar picture.

Here's my story:

CRAZY 88 - My first Honda was an '88 CRX, and I got it shortly after the movie "Kill Bill Vol. 1" came out. If you've seen the movie you know there is a gang of Japanese mobsters called The Crazy 88s, so I wanted Crazy 88 on my license plate. The DMV told me the plate was already taken. I was pissed about that. Then one day on my way to work I pulled up to a red light behind a black S2000 and his license plate catches my eye - CRAZY 88!!! I couldn't believe that shit. Of all the people in Arizona, the dude that stole my idea lived in my neighborhood! He even drove a gawdam Honda!

My Avatar: Drexel, from the movie True Romance, my favorite movie. If you've never seen this flick, see it. It starred: Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer, Brad Pitt, Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, and a bunch of other cool actors you'll recognize. The script was written by Quentin Tarrantino and it was directed by Tony Scott. The movie was way ahead of it's time, so it didn't get the attention it deserved ( the scene with Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken is so brilliant, it blows my mind). The fact that Drexel is holding chopsticks in the picture just made it that much cooler.

My avatar for the longest time was a picture of a localish motor built that i used as the wallpaper on my phone to keep me inspired and in love with b-series.

Whats his dickhead face name ( i really can't remember and would post it if i could) pointed out in a thread that i had it and started bitching about it and called me a nut swinger. So i changed my avatar to the same as his. I believe its a picture of his Drag car that is a built all motor b-series. Some more inspiration. :)
