here's a whole lot of reading for you here (http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=878397). you'd be surprised that there isn't much of a break-in period. you just want to make sure the piston rings seat

that's how i broke in my motor. definitely piston seating is key so i really got on it and it was really fun.

and idling a motor to seat the rings is about the worst way to do it besides never starting the motor. go :whip: and seat those rings quick, before you get to replace them and re-hone the block

Loudest BOV you can get is a TurboXS RFL (Real FUCKING Loud)
They are just a loud as pusshhhhh of air. I use to scare bike riders with mine.

http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm also, i would never idle the motor to break it in, you need to do that to the turbo.

I started mine, checked for leaks and commenced to beat on it like I stole it. that's the way to break it in.

let your tuner beat the piss out of it for you the right way....... on a dyno, that way it's tuned too.

and then change the oil. do oil changes at like 100miles, 300 miles, 500 miles, and if you want to be uber safe, 1000 miles.

the site actually recommends shorter intervals, i think it was like 20, 50...

Turbo XS RFL is definetly LOUD and one of my favorites.

When I broke my motor in I let it warm up at idle then in 2nd gear took it up to 5 grand, not flooring it, and let the engine decelerate the car to ~1300rpm then did it 3 more times, once more in 2nd and twice in 3rd, allowing the engine some time to cool between each one. Next I babied it for 100miles and I changed my oil at 100miles, 500miles, then 1500miles(to be safe) and then I treated it like every other car with 3000mile intervals.

Right after my rebuild my compression was 150 across, now its 180 across (low comp. pistons).

Damn, you're really supposed to change your oil after driving 100 miles after you boost your motor? What if you do an oil change right before a kit is installed and tuned? Same deal still?

lol, they are talking about breaking in a re-built motor(in medina's case, his motor happens to be turbo-charged) not a motor that has just been turbo-charged
