yeah it was really cool. most of the ocean pics were taken @ or around Bodega Bay, which is on Hwy 1
Gave her little corolla quite the workout on some of the roads :)

I would have, but I flew out to see her (she is working there till next month for a summer camp for kids program)
I may have to go back though and take the Miata, it would be perfect. It was actually kind of windy/chilly there so I would wait till june or july if I go again.

Looks like you had a great time. Lots of beautiful pictures. I'll be doing the 101 cruise very soon, I cant wait to see something like what you saw.

thanks :) I highly recommend it. Its cool as well because if you are up in the area I was in, there are tons (every 15 feet it seemed like) of wineries with free tastings and cheap wine :) we came away with 16 bottles...

highway 1 is the best.....so many great stops along the coastline. looks like a great time. i've driven the southern cali portion many times to clear my head and get away.

love the 16th pic, that buliding at the end of the pier. there's a little bit of everything just in that pic.

the 25th pic reminds me of a stretch of twisties that connected the freeways/highways near Santa Cruz.
