s2k 120k yay or nay? wachu say?

Alrighty...i found a ap1 with 120k miles for what seems like a awesome deal. Should i jump on this or move on? Sure its a honda motor blah blah it will see over 250k with regular maintenence...just worried that someone has already beat on it and had thier fun then turned it loose before somthing drastic goes out. Basically i got approved for this loan at a baby dick interest rate and want to go thru with this really badly. idk it just seems too good to be true getting a ap1 for under 7500. someone please just tell me to do it lol. i dont want this to be the one that got away! post up what all you s2k duders think kuz i have to make a choice by tomorrow! sorry for the rambling...im buzzed and already picking wheel and tire combos. ha:drunk:

Well if a new motor isn't too expensive why not pickup the s2k and a spare motor to build up for the time when this one takes a crap. In other words get it, but don't be stupid and not get a spare engine for the side.

car still runs great, dynoed 199whp a few months ago @ UMS Tuning which was on par for the mods he had.

I wouldn't worry about it...just get it...if you are really concerned have a mechanic check it first

Hey, I know that guy! I say do it, 120k really isn't that bad. Worst case scenario, a low mileage AP2 drivetrain can be had for about 5k (motor/trans/diff) but it's doubtful that you will need it. Keep in mind that although I have almost 200k miles on my car, I bought it new and know how it was driven/maintained throughout it's entire life. Sounds like a great deal.

Hey thanks for all of the imput guys! Didnt get a chance to make it out to the credit union today...sux its open 10 to 5 and i work 8 to 6 haha. Taking a sick day tomorrow tho and if all works out ima be the newest s2k owner on the site!
