Photoshoot with a GT500 Shelby Super Snake

Shot this last week. Harsh lighting but did what I could since both of our schedules were conflicting.....Let me know what you guys think.

Believe me, the thought crossed my mind many times........ but we couldnt do it because the owner is a .....um, I promise him I wouldnt say a thing.

mmm... can't wait til I do the shoot for my mustang buddy.

So is the owner one of those collector guys? or does plan on using those 725 ponies? Those cars are by far the baddest thing Ford/Shelby has put together. Hell, I'd take that over a GT40 any day!

Yea, he puts all of them ponies to work. I saw alittle of it during the shoot and hear about it from locals in his town. But he's not a collector guy, he's just a Ford guy who's always loved Mustangs.

hmmm... 27% loss through the drive train does seem a bit steep. The only thing I could think of would be the heat acting as an additional hinderance. I'm sure Shelby had those engines dyno'd in near perfect conditions so I guess I could see where he got 725 from.

Meh, whatever 530 whp is still pretty bad ass coming from a showroom floor.

I guess I wouldnt be surprise. I didnt know what the numbers were before I met the guy but I clearly remember him saying he assumes he's at about 560...MAYBE 580 from what he's done to the car. Then he's expecting to put in a smaller pulley and something else to try and break 600.

ya can't really complain...it was kinda hot that day, but whatever not my deal. plus i think the verts are rated a little lower too.
