I wanna get some info on how to build up the engine of a EP3 K20A3 to be able to hold more Boost from the GReddy turbo kit. I know for starters injectors. But what else? I wanna be able to push 10 pounds or more instead of just six. Not looking to go crazy rebuild. Any help will be much appreciate. If i left any info you need to help Please ask. Dont flame. Its useless posts. Thanks

affordable options would be APR head studs, Injectors, and a visit to Locash for a good tune.

Or you can try K20A.org to see what others have done, Honestly I personally would recomend saving your money instead of putting it into a K20A3. It is cheaper to invest in a K24 swap in the end. Trust me, Got a K24 in my EP3

Hey Homie, have not seen you in a while. What EP3 is holding that much power, stock? Check out K20A. Got two friends that blew there K20A3's with good tunes on low boost, no where near 350whp, Gosh it's just that I never seen a stock lil k20a3 pushing 400hp to get 350 to the wheels with out having some problems, even on a good tune that wont last long, believe me....

To the OP, you could also consider a type s or real vtec SI head swap since there so much cheaper now. I saw one on K20A.org for $700 a few weeks ago. GL

the stock motor is well capable to hold 10psi as it sits. just get injectors and a tune. you should be fine like that

I'm on K20a as well as EPhatch there is a few people on EP hatch with A3s pushing close to 350 Daily Driven and there is plenty in the 290s-300whp DD on ephatch. =P I think I worded it wrong tho I meant many people on Ephatch have made over 300whp with minor mods and many on there quote the stock block can hold 300whp+ no problem on a good tune.

We only achieved 280whp with a REV hard stage 2 turbo kit with Kpro tuned at 10psi on 91 @ Church


To the op if you don't want to swap the motor and just want to boost the a3 I suggest you switch the head out for i believe its the k24a4 head which has the best flow I'm not 100% sure its the a4 tho so don't quote me on it I know its one of the k24heads

hey that kid hit up liddlej he is putting down 300+ whp on a a3 block with a z3 head of a fg si. and its been doing so for more than 2 years now. he can tell you all about it he's a cool cat and a home. most peopole even the ones that own eps on here are still sucking on b-series cocks! hope that helps ya. keep it saucy!

this is true, its a z1 head though..... but 352whp no issues thus far. pm me if you have questions. also go onto ephatch.com.... all you need is there.

To my knowledge the A4 Element/Accord head is not the best of the K24's I believe you are referring to the K24a2 which comes from the TSX. This is a real vtec head and is very similar to the rsx-s head and all the parts are interchangeable. They Type S head flows better than the TSX head but they are very similar. I have a huge write up I did on K series back in 06. I beleive it was deleted on this site back when Stealth_Si was a Mod. I have also posted this extensive write up on all K series swaps and options on Honda-Tech, ephatch.com, and K20a.org. I will PM you all the links.

i actually read somewhere i cant recall where but some company had a k20a3 with k24 head pushing 400whp on stock internals.
