I recently upgraded my system set up, and need someone who is really good at tunning it to make the best possible sound out of it. Because I don't know how to do it.
I got
Alpine Type R 15
Alpine Mono Vpower 1000 amp
Pioneer Avic D3 Head unit.
PLease PM me if you or know anyone who can maybe tune it up for me.
Thanks

Yeah I figured it out. I'm just going to wire a switch to the remote to control when I can turn on and off the sub. Shit is a lil to much lol.

first off..everybody's ear's hear differently
the real way to tune for "tuner" is with a R.T.A.
another way of tunin is with a OCCISCOPE....for voltage tuning
most people tune by EAR.....what is what they think sounds good
the best way to tune "by ear"
is first disconting the subs
and rears....
then find a GOOD cd that you know what it should sound like
set ur deck to 3/4 of its max volume...."i never max out an electric device, it's just stupid.for lots of reasons i wont get into"
then u tune ur front...and center stage if you have one...all by it's self...make sure u set the crossovers or whatever now
then to the rear stage with the front and sub turned off
then...thats right you guessed it...tune the sub...just by its self
then turn everything on and u can make ur fine tune adjustments
shitty thing is now ur system is tuned for whatever type of music u just tuned...so if it was rap....when u play rock the bass is gonna be weak....and it goes both ways....tune on rock and way to much bass for rap
i suggest a deck that can control sub output for this problem
maybe ur deck even has a way to save multilple custom preset...i HATE the defaults
that why i run my own custom built CAR PC for audio/video needs
hope this helps
