whats wrong with my DA it picks up so slow from 1 to 3 on the rpm it takes of really slow but wen it hits 4 it kicks in and takes of well starts picking up whats wrong with it or what do i have to do to it??:upyours:

you have a DA man..........
just kidding, is it bogging? check your injectors, or if thats not the case than pull your spark plug wires and see if theres oil. if you see oil in there just sifen it out and go buy a valve cover gastket set from checker or autozone and change it.

yeah it was but not any more it does not have oil on the soark plug wires ima have to check my injectors..

x2 my da did that i had to loosen the clutch cable cause it was too tight but itdid the same thing yours is doing

you know the same thing is happening to my DA 88 integra, pudders from 1 to 3k rpms and then just goes nice and smooth, its not vtec cuz our engines dont have that... the problem with mine is the EVAP Canister, which has something to do with emissions, its located on the back left of the egine hangin on the firewall. should be 3 tubes coming off of it, one of mine broke off, so now im stuck tring to find a new canister. I was told it was oild in my spark plugs too so i checked and sure enough there was, so i replaced the seals. Only down side is that it didnt fix my problem, thats when i found the hose that snapped off of my EVAP Canister..
hope this helps! let me know if it is the problem, and if you are able to find a new EVAP Canister cuz i cant find one anywhere

Man please tell me that b18b1 tegi was makin a joke when he said "it was vtec" cause that's how I took it like vtec kicked in at 3k rpms hahha sorry but that shits funny
Seriously tho sounds like timing happend in my type 1 vw it was the timing and a vacume advanceing problum
