true its not hard at all.
common sense and a little wire knowledge is all you need.

Do it, you run a few wires and thats it really easy.

if you go somewhere dont pay more then 35 for install if you have the amp kit

Thanks, I guess I'll do it this weekend then since it sounds like it shouldn't be too bad.

On the power part of the amp it shows a diagram. The + goes to the + on the battery and the - goes to the - on the battery. Duh. Now the third wire shows it goes to the back of the stereo in my dash. So...where would I put that one?
Seems easy, but I don't want to take more than an hour doing this haha (lazy)

+goes from the amp to the positive battery terminal a fuse should be no farther away than a foot from the battery
-gets ground to the body of the car clean it well
the rcas go from deck to the amp
rem is a thin wire and goes from the rem on the amp to the back of deck may say amp or rem not the power antena doing so will make cds not bump

The wire your talking about is the Remote Wire, it tells the amp to turn on. Your deck should have a blue wire that may or may not have some sort of connection just hanging out in the open, just connect that wire with a wire (speaker wire is fine) to that part on your amp.

depending on the deck, it should be a blue wire with a white stripe. if it dosen't have that wire, try the all blue wire. if anything else, you can hook it up to ignition power behind the radio which would be the red wire. doing so, the amp would turn on and off with the car instead of with just the radio.

I think I shorted my battery when I was connecting the + and - chords to the amp because now my car won't start with a jump. I did the remote wire thing right, though it worked, just now my battery is dead.

did everything work before the battery went dead?

maybe you hooked the amp turn on to a constant power killing the battery

That's exactly what I accidentally did. while screwing on the ground, I sneezed, touch the positive with the negative...car turns off for split second then keeps running.

All is good now though. Just had to buy a new battery and had it hooked up correctly this time. I love my bass.
