my buddy is looking to buy some rims and is wondering how wide of a rim can he get for the rear? and what offset? pictures would be great too and this is going on a 06 si

i have seen 17x9 with like +35 offset but the guy had lowering springs and i guess he rubbed at times

I have a friend who has that on his coupe. He is slammed on coilovers. With the right camber and tire size you should be good.

But I doubt your friend is going to want to run a real agressive wheel. I had 17x8 +35 with a 215/45/17 on springs and I was fine.

Ran the same 17x8 +35 but on 225/30/17 on tein s-techs perfect!

thanks guys! my friend is a girl when it comes to lowering his car cuz he hates scraping and camber. i need u guys to help me convince him to drop that bitch! he said he will probably drop it. but dropping it to him means hes still gonna have like 2 inches of tire gap lol my car is tucking tire.

i have 19x8 Axis wheels on my civic si with the tein s-tech springs and a full camber kit. the only time mine rubs is when you hit a bump in the road just the back rubs but if i roll the quarter panel then they wont rub but dont feel like doin that to my civic.
