I did that. I hated the 96-98 climate control.

Just got her back on the road last night. New head gasket and water pump. Sprang a very small leak in one of the A/C lines. Getting fixed real soon.

I didn't think you had to do the dash swap to convert. Correct me If I'm wrong but I believe the bezel along with HVAC and vent tubes are needed, wiring should be plug and play.

Correct, but you do need the 99-00 wiring harness also.

I woke up this morning with the goal that I will have A/c by the end of the day.

Currently have o-ring kit, page oil, dryer, replacement line, and belt on eye. I gathered all my a/c components, and just need to make a trip to grab everything. I need to research an a/c repair shop to vac and charge my system. Wish me luck!

Just picked up some Ksport GT Lowering Springs. Was thinking about doing a right up on them after I install them tomorrow. Just wanted to find out if anyone wants me to do it or not?

You are right...but the kid I bought my car from insisted on mounting a 5" monster tach in the center of the dash so there is two small holes that bug the fuck out of me....so I bought a new dash

Than checked the forecast and it's going to be raining for the next 5 days!!!!

Installed ksport suspension, had some new tires mounted, installed rear camber kit and made an appointmet at firestone for an aligment tomorrow.

Redid the plastics behind the fabric on the door panels, used ABS cement that dried clear. Came out awesome. Removed the old exhaust shields and plastic fuel/brake line covers. Prepping for new parts :)

I think i want a hatch instead of a coupe now:/ lol as far as what i did to it today, i did absolutely nothing lol

i cant wait to get home with all the parts at the house am taking a half a page posting in here

Installed AC into a factory none AC 96 hatch today. Shit was like a freezer cruising home. Stoked I finally got both my parents into daily driving hondas!

Everything worked. Super cold ass a/c again. Quiet inside ride. Veddy happy. I also did a super deep clean on the inside this weekend so it's back to a comfy cruiser.

installed obd2 injectors and sub harness, plugged in the canister and purge, hocked up a knock sensor, plugged in my obd2b ecu, prayed the lord...o2s gave me a lil bit of a hard time but finally figured out my issue. drove it for 30 miles. no check engine. ..
my plan of an ek with a z6 emission legal is coming to an end... if i pass smog tomorrow i can pack all that go slow emission garbage in a box for 2 years and move on to real things.. been spending a lot of money time and effort to make this project go fwd. cant wait to see real boost..
