All d16 belts are the same. 221 tooth iirc

maybe the newer engines but the a6 has less teeth. Newer ones are taller I guess or something like that

Just totally fucked up my cam angle tables on kpro.
I feel like dedspool. Hopefully shit doesn't go boom. Gonna start it in a few hours. I'll make sure to video tape initial startup= valve contact=boom=new engine because I'm dumb and no racecar |
First startup failed.
Doesn't seem like my plugs were making contact with the injectors. Kinda was suspecting this would happen, but hoped it wouldn't. Only thing I can do now is de-pin them, and just plug the individual plugs on the injectors. They're super close together, so hopefully they don't ark and fuck shit up. Waiting on boppers to get herrrrrr cuz he said so |

I wrapped some e-tape around for now. Don't want a permanent fix as I'll be ordering pigtail in teh morning.
Started up now, filled coolant, and checked for that and oil leaks. Let it get up to optimum, fan turned on, and it slowly cooled down. Stays between 180 and 188 while sitting. Just double checked a few things, and was about to test drive, but I had a wave of a feeling of poop for the first time in 4 days, so as I type this, my bum is excreting the last four days of waste in a rather burning method. I'm slightly irritated because now I'm starving, and I haven't even finished pooping yet. |

Ended up finishing it up on a stock TSX map, with adjustments like rev limiter from 7600 to 7000
Injectors from 310 to 410. Fan on at 185 instead of 202 CEL for overheat on at 199 instead of 220. But that's really it. Cam angles should be minimal enough stock to keep catastrophe from occurring. I should stay out of vtec too, but i doubt i'll be able to. I will, however, make sure not to mash it until i am on my way home from work tonight, and am almost home in case it blows. |
