It's cheap bro i got it at walmart for 3 bucks each and only needed 3 bottles

That's me too, I thought this was gonna turn out horrible like everyone else but it actually looks like you did a good job. Me personally, I would never do that, I'd just spend $140 and get a brand new one in that color but hey, big ups to you for doing it the cheap way and getting decent results. :biggrin:

Nice..looks like you did a good job...I read the same thing but on seats...some one used the red die on some oem seats...they also did a good job...

I highly doubt that type r carpet is that cheap. You might get really lucky to find a used one that cheap but not brand new.

not the seats man i'm going to get some recaro's seats and the recaro door inserts and that's about it but definitely not dye in not seats bro:bigsmile:

tried this with my blue carpet goiong to black. I used 6 bottles of black dye. Let the carpet soak for 3 days, pulled it. And all the dye ended up washing out.
Ended up spraying it with canned black fabric dye and it looks ight.

The Dye washed out?! How is that possible? Did you let it dry with the dye soaked?

Did you use hot water? and you had to add like about half a cup of salt thats for the dye to stay on the fabric thats what i did bro and it didn't wash away the dye
