really dude? i failed my first HPDE1. embarrassed... thats a bigger issue that will affect youre driving. HPDE is for learning, nothing to prove except that youre learning.

Exactly, I have held 2 students back in the last year, not because the 'failed', but because they hadn't learned all that HPDE1 had to offer! Everyone has their own pace to go by!

Now, back to HC. I have to figure out if my front end is even going to be considered legal, otherwise I am reboosting and doing PT.

i read up on the hc rulebook. i couldn't find and info on the harness that are legal. I'm not looking to gt into hc soon but if ima buy safety stuff might as well get the right stuff. anyne know if i need a 4 or 5 pt harness and proper way to bolt it?

absolutely NOOO 4pts at NASA in general. a lot of people have belts that just expired and are free or little $ in excellent condition start there so youll have all the mounting points and dont forget harness means racing seat. you have plenty of time to get you car ready seeing that your hpde2 with only a handful of events all together, right? read through NASA and HC rules and then read through them again... i always catch something that didnt spark before.

also i know where an eg autopower cage is and possibly for sale cheap ;)

The AZ HC field looks good and healthy....I like, being in it since 02 and remembering H4 was "big" with 3 cars in it and like 1 H1 car.......Thx for the vids too......

We had 5 cars out last weekend and there was $450 in Honda Bucks won and $400 in Toyo Bucks won.

Mine is of chasing around doug and Jason swapping spots all over the track on sunday before i bow out for a leak in the trans..and saturday passing the above mentioned gabe in the carousel , hunting down 2nd place, only to pile drive a curb and thrash a wheel taking me and my transmission out for the day.. But the incar is good to see me pull them in catching and then watch the passing.
