Considering that the car community up north is dead compared to here, and the fact that I've always wanted to embarass myself in an organized driving event (and it's only $15), I was seriously thinking about.

VoodooXIII 03-08-2007 08:27 PM

Haha, I've seen plenty of stock Preludes run at Firebird, so don't feel like you're out of place. If you're worried about having a bad run or two, most people won't be too cruel. Just don't act like you're a badass, burning out or revving into the lanes, and everyone will show a decent amount of respect, no matter how bad your run is.

Oh- I'm not sure if this sort of stuff bothers you, but Firebird flucuates a LOT with the sort of crowds it pulls in. One friday, it'll be all old muscle, and the next, there's nothing BUT imports abroad. I really never know what to expect.

But anyway, I'd love to do a run with you- it'd be pretty cool to have a prelude matchup (no doubt the first in the strip's history), but I unfortunately don't turn 18 until mid-april. If I happen to be there, though, I'll be sure to meet up with you at some point. Just keep a lookout for a group of kids standing next to a red dakota, dropped on 18s.

VoodooXIII 04-12-2007 10:02 PM

if you want advice on the swap, i'd check out - they'll tell you pretty much everything/anything you'll need to know to lead you toward the right choice for your 'Lude. good luck man

OK I finally found this place. Any Tucson 3rd genners? I am the 3rd gen king!

boostedlude3g 04-17-2007 03:58 PM

SovietSuperSoldier 04-17-2007 08:06 PM

91 Lude SI with boost and 89 turbo auto project. Also have the B16 head swap;)
Suspension is done up son. I can do canyon carving at 85 mph. And 2 extra turbo kits, a Ludespeed and one of my own design.
The 89 is being completely restored and has custom seats and new interior. The 91 is mint factory interior and has the 89 front bumper swap. 89 is red and the 91 is that light blue with perfect everything. Only 32k ORIGINAL miles!!!!

boostedlude3g 04-17-2007 09:02 PM

sounds sessy!

mine will be completely rebuilt head to toe after brake up grade, strut bars and paint. I have my 90 front seats if your interested. Very clean, no tears or holes. Let me know cause I will bring them out with my car when I have it shipped.

SovietSuperSoldier 04-17-2007 10:19 PM

What color are the seats? Im interested. Need strut bars? Im currently selling some Gladmans that are mint and gunmetal in color. There very nice. If you need anything for your Prelude just let me know. I have a shed filled with 3rd gen goodies. And I dislike shipping across the country.

98SHDriver 04-18-2007 12:19 AM

Oh shit. 32k original miles on a 3rd gen. I want to find one in that shape so bad. Not that I can afford another car, but that things classic collector right there! (Only to people that appreciate Preludes though...)

boostedlude3g 04-18-2007 07:37 AM

They are black, and like I said very good shape. The prelude seats are IMO more comfortable than the type r seats I have in there now but the type r seats have a much higher pimp factor. :) I might have to get with you on the strut bars. I plan on doing the 95 legend brake calipers eventually if you know a good place to get some let me know.

Man I love those year accords. I want to sell my 02SI and build one of those with an H22. Noice!!

P.S. a little lower profile tire would look much better, and a camber adjustment. :)
