Chris, I honestly don't recall what you PM'd me originally. All I remember is getting that one PM offer for $3K. I know you and I have discussed several things over the years, but I don't remember an offer on the car.

Well Pat, I am sure it's sad to see it go. But at least it is going to a great owner who will take care of it. For an added plus, you can still check in on the car and see how it is doing with Phil.

It is the best case scenario I would imagine. Dave (my CRX's PO) and I still talk and he follows my thread on CRX Community with great interest.

My parts hunts now will consist of looking for stuff for a 2003 Civic LX Sedan. First up will be a set of alloy rims to replace the steelies! :grin:

Correct. I didn't make an offer officially and definitely would not have offered 3k. I think I had said I was interested and that I wanted to get a Y for my son. He is 13 now and has wanted a yellow crx since he was 5. Had I made an offer it would have been 4.5k or so

Tore apart the left front wheel well (corner #2). Removed the brakes, controls arms, knuckle/hub and radius rod. Pressed out the hub and cleaned it up. Pressed out the wheel bearing and cleaned the knuckle. Painted the knuckle, fork and radius rod so it looks brand new. Undercoated the LF wheel well along with the left underside of the car.

Reassembled the knuckle so its ready to go now. I will put everything back together tomorrow morning.

Time to grab a beer and watch the Coyotes game.

They are :) I Drove three days straight coming from Florida no complaints

I drove Phx to LA and back several times the past few years. No problem!

Once I drove Tallahassee to Tucson in 30 hours straight, put about 5K miles on it in 2 weeks time. Of course I was much younger back then. ;)
