Yeah it looks a bit better and it was pretty simple to do.

Got her smogged and passed with flying colors! Too bad it's only for a year....
put stock seats back in saving up for racing seats for now
today i removed the pass side axle to find it was torn in two pieces...
did a ricer injector clip tuck lol and also removed the driver side fender and driver side harness so i could begin tucking as well Thursday the motor comes out! *any tips as to how to drop it from under the car?* |
The Rhd got some Evo 8's love them very comfy
Take out axles and wheels, drain radiator and undo hoses, lower car with something underneath to hold engine, a small roller dolly, skateboards? Undo wire harness, undo the mounts and raise the car with a jack or two then slide engine out from underneath and voilŕ!
That's just a quick reply I'm sure there's stuff I forgot but that's kind of an outline to how to do it. Hope it helps a little. |
Oh yeah!!! Undo your shift linkage before you lower the car, do that after draining the radiator.
yeah the engine is pretty much ready to be taken out, only the mounts are left to unbolt.
can i use an old tire or something to hold the engine? i am doing this in my backyard so its dirt not concrete...and i only have one skateboard haha |
Idk I used two skateboards lol. I think the tire might work just make sure not to drop it too quick and smash the oil pan, and have someone hold it while raising the car so it doesn't tip over
lol well i'll figure it out when im out there i guess
the car is auto btw so no shift linkage ...yet ;) |
traded my oem hood for a Carbon fiber one.... :) pics in build thread
grrrr. lucky!
i did a tie rod job on both sides this morning and went hunting for a good tire deal. anyone got the hook up in east valley? |
put a sticker on her..
Went to showcase Honda at camelback, got her new trans fluid
4quarts for 20 bucks! |
but in a new cluster bezel, installed new door speakers, and got my alarm all hooked up and the lock actuators in and working! fun day......
took the front end off to put on the fenders i got for it them put all of that back on and ended up fixing the fog lights still need to get a switch for that and add some screws that where missing from the hood alot more to still get done
Installed the fog lights i bought to find out the switch was broken. So wired it to the accessory output and called it a day.
Took out dash and pulled the driver side harness out
Just wire a relay to the low beams.
Put brake fluid since I found out im leaking fluid from one of my brake lines
Washed it for the first time since the last roundbutt square butt meet and it was dirty
Wired my Denji headlights
I just ran the power wire to the accessory output so they turn on when the key is turned. They work so not complaining. I might find some random fog light switch and do my own diy or something if i get bored.
