So the wife says to me this morning "Once we get the Civic working good and make sure it's reliable, we can go down and you can look at the CR-Z".

God I love her!

crx88 03-06-2013 06:58 PM

Must of been that yellow bumper distracting other motorist. Shame on you!

Wow, good job! That is very black! Came out great! I like the color of your car! haha

Did the new bushings help? I like my short shifter as well. Easier to get in and out of gears. Tough to go back to the long throws when you have experienced a short shifter. Not sure why everyone equates that to racing and/or lap times…

AZCRXSI 03-11-2013 06:55 PM

Phillie 03-11-2013 07:22 PM

Bushings definitely did the job. Back to being tight. The stuff I used isn't oily so it doesn't attract dirt. Now I need to do the rest of the trim.

Thats all you did lol?!?! J/k!

crxmanpat 03-11-2013 08:33 PM

Phil,

Lip looks good! Glad to see it shined back up again.

jdmrex1 03-11-2013 09:15 PM

Nice job.. That crx is so amazingly clean.. You should literaly just keep it in a huge glass cage and preserve that gem..
But im with you on the short throw.. I like the feeling of the gears thru the shifter.

AZCRXSI 03-12-2013 08:51 PM

Phillie 03-13-2013 09:30 AM

Everything will be shined up soon!

Thanks to the previous owners for taking great care of the car! No preserving going here. Its going to be driven but taken care of.

So fresh! The bar has been set high!

crxmanpat 03-13-2013 10:06 AM

Wow! Keep that up and you'll have a brand new car soon! :tongue2:

AZCRXSI 03-13-2013 11:08 AM

Thanks Phil!

Thanks Pat! I’m trying… I suspect I may have a leaking rear seal along with a possible oil pan gasket to resolve in the foreseeable future. But the car is coming along nicely. I am still very appreciative that Dave took good care of the car and that gave me a springboard to accomplish this!

Good people CRX folks are…

crxmanpat 03-13-2013 01:37 PM

Phil,

Change your avatar! We're on a Y49 roll here! :tongue2:

AZCRXSI 03-13-2013 02:13 PM

I second that thought Phil.

Get to it! Quit messing with bushings and tend to the more important stuff. Like an avatar! hehe

KOOCHYOLOGIST 03-14-2013 06:00 PM
