Block might be warped.

1995turbocoupe 12-19-2011 10:53 PM

I was thinking that but its a iron block so it would have to be over heated to shit in order for it to warp

stick something straight on the block that you know 100% is straight.

or.

put a light coat of some paint on the block. Lay the head on it and see what is untouched after you lift the head off.

Maybe the head isnt torqued down right?

My guess, or they didnt torque them in the right sequence . But I would have the block decked after the first time changing it and it leaked

It Could be a cam seal? Get a flashlight and look behind the cams at the seals and see if they are wet.

Well the head is all taken apart I'm I got new valve cover, head gasket, cam seal. When I was taking it apart where the cam seal sits it had some oil there and I cleaned it so that might be it

So found the problem out and it was the cam seals! It doesn't leak anymore time to do some upgrades like turbo and so on :)
