stock deck code help
I have a stock deck from an integra and I plugged it in and need to enter the code. Does anyone know how to crack the code or is there a way to get out of this? Or is there a place where the code is written on the deck ? Thanks a lot.

Go to the dealer with your registration and they will tell you the code.

there is no.aura close to me. You think Honda would do it man ?
|
screw this gonna just sell the deck and put my alpine in lol
|
dealer is the only place you can get the code. just call and ask them
|
Need the serial code off the deck. Many dealers will also ask for the VIN off the car as well.
|
I take it the deck is not meant for you ride. Going to be very difficult to get the code unless the guy at the Acura dealer is willing to just give up the code. Last I checked they needed to show you were the owner of the vehicle but I could be wrong. Maybe someone can hook you up? The deck doesn't have it written on it somewhere?

No i got it in my integra and wanted to sell my alpine and just deal with a stock deck but now ima need to sell the stock deck.. awesome lol.

Get the code before you sell it otherwiseit is completely worthless to the buyer. If it is the deck that came with the car you have allthe info you need. Just call an Acura dealer to get the code. They have always donestuff like thisforfree. They only charge to pull the deck if they need the serial code.
If it is the stock deck for that car, when new the dealer may have attached a white sticker someplace with 5 numbers on it. That is the security code. It may be attached inside the glovebox or under an ashtray. There is no set place for them to attach the sticker and not all dealers did this. |
I looked on the door jam, glove box, trunk, and hood and found no sticker like I thought I would. So I will let the buyer know the code needs to be found. I have sold decks like this before. I would not tell them that it works when it does not. I thought maybe there would be a way to get around this without going to the dealer but there is none. Lol. Thanks anyways guys. |
i've called the dealer a few times when i worked for a car audio shop, they were always willing to give me the code over the phone
|
i know on newer civic they do put a sticker on the side of the glove box or in that area had a battery die on a road trip and it reset itself
|
Not all have that as the dealer does that to be nice when they PDI them. There are many places they can put it as they don't have a designated area to do so.
The OP just needs to make a call to get the code but I guess is to lazy to do so. |
who told you lol
