lsvtec noise
 

Hello everyone I need help on figuring out the source of a problem I did an lsvtec about a week ago and yesterday started making a funny noise it only does it when the throtle is about the middle I mean when I push the gas it goes away and when I completely let the gas go stops also I had a gsr engine before and also did the same but that one was worse and I thought it was the cams but took it 2 the machine shop and they said everything was fine but I have not put the engine together again and this is a b16 head. And is starting 2 do the sme thing so if anyone can help let me know I will apreciated thanks

No is more like a clicking noise and like I said is just when u are eazy on the throtle mostly on the freeway cause if u step on it it goes away and if u completely let the gas go the noise goes away idk how to explained better

I have another question when the lma's go bad what are the symtoms

yey i finally found out what it was and suck to know i damage to engines to figure it out and it was just the rod bearings "

Rod bearings? And it didn't get louder at WOT? :crazy:

that's usually how it is right before the bottom bearing overlaps the top one and your engine seizes.

ok well it didnt got any worst the noise just the ticking noise but anyways how i close this thread now thread tools dont give me this option :(
