Go back to stock. No way around it unless you lie about where you live.

Keep obd2 they will just plug in and make sure there is no check engine light and all the monitors have run. My fit is boosted and has no catalytic converter still passed.

Wrong if his ecu us obd1 and the car is obd2 it cant read it. Ur orolly on kpro or ems

Oops misread. He needs an engine management like u said. Hondata would be good.

No one makes stuff prior to the k series that is obd2 and tunable.
Most the time if you converted to obd1 you can talk to a supervisor and show your light cycles and they will pass you.

dudeinpinkfit 10-25-2013 11:38 PM

So like s300 is that for obd1?

A_integra1012 10-26-2013 12:50 AM

Yes ^^^ s300 is for obd1 , or when emmisions come you can throw stock ecu on with stock injectors and drive it to emmisions but just don't hit boost . Also if your running a straight pipe the. Run a defouler for the secondary o2 sensor .

C.R.A.Y. 10-26-2013 12:34 PM

if you did that you would fail, the emissions cycle would show not ready, you have to drive it 50-150 miles for the monitors to show ready if you did that

savg_buneh 10-28-2013 06:16 PM

I had a chipped p28 on my L's VTEC turbo and passes I think as long as the check engine light turns on and off when they test it u should be fine ,

A_integra1012 10-28-2013 06:39 PM

I did that with both my rsx and my integra and passed emmisions without having to drive 50-150 miles.

Run the OBD1 setup year round.. Make sure you leave all the sensors to pass smog. When it's time to smog, put the factory injectors and ECU in then disconnect the charge pipe so you can't boost. Essentially you'll be back to stock again. :D
