Teach me how to dougie?
 

So I'm still a photographer in training and want to learn more, anybody here who is good at automotive shots down to take a few of my car? I want to see what the potential is cuz I have taken pics from just about every angle but I am still not satisfied.
You can choose the location and we can work on a time and details, id really appreciate the sensei-ness and ill be the karate kid of photography "flash on, flash off" .

That does tend to get pretty damn expensive to satisfy my liver... I'm not a cheap date.

I prefer eye contact, and minimal clothing put on. I am pretty broke right now... lol but i tend to get a bit spendy on auto shoots. =x

There's only 1 person on AZHT I would ever pay for advice on photography, and he's all up in this thread.

Other than him, I'm mad decent w/ a camera but I don't have anywhere near the lighting shit that Marin has.

well im interested, i know that your equipment wasnt cheap and time is money. so what about we discuss a price? im not the most baller guy out there but i can toss out a couple bucks .

like i said before, im an aspiring photographer in training. I bought a Canon EOS 20D just to learn basic controls on and what F-stops, ISO, shutter speed and all that do. I want to see what equipment you use and how you use it, your angles, and your techniques. Don't worry, i wont take business from you, i want to do this for myself and my friends and reading books isnt helping much.

I am glad you were there to see it... haha the editing wasn't too intense either. Its all about casting your shadows correctly, and lighting. And then some minor touch up for some of the large blemishes in photoshop! :) Always nice when someone see's the magic put into work :P

I can PM you my number. I normally won't shoot unless its a good amount (the above shoots ranged from 300-400 ea). But I'm broke right now... and i got a bike i need to finish building :P And if you don't want anything toooo crazy and are willing to pick me up that makes it easier on me. Packing all that shit in my S2000 SUCKS (i bring studio lighting along in all of my shoots).

I am not worried about people taking business from me. Most people don't want to go as extreme into shooting as i do with cars (studio lighting etc). So its not a threat at a lllll when people tag along. Most the people in the photography section can vouch that i never have a problem with people tagging along, as long as they stay out of the way, or even better help with lights etc. I usually bring one "newb" on just about every shoot and they help me with lighting and i explain whats going on so they can pick up some experience.

If i teach someone how i shoot & edit, their photos will almost never match mine, all our eyes are different, we all have a different favored color pallet etc.

yeah i get that we wont ever end up with similar photos, and thats great. I want my material to be recognizable as my photos and not someone elses. Glad your'e open to such a thing, ill be the newb moving the lighting.
