Why don't we cut off registration for awhile? I've seen many sites do this. And I'm sure you guys have.

I think it would clean up this place a lot. Just saying.

I like how the guys who haven't even been in the "scene" for but a few years refer to people as noobs

the noob thing is kind of iffy..

I have owned my rsx for only 3 years and only been in the import scene for 3 years..
but I could understand/explain suspension geometry/physics, the hydraulics, and most of the electronics in the systems on the cars well enough to not be a "noob"

cutting off registration doesnt help..need more common sense validation type stuff lol..

also, remove the guest wall. that would eliminate a lot of back channel BS too.

There could be an inventation to a membership only. Meaning Members can use classifieds, and forums, etc. They can be viewed, just cannot post ect unless a member. I see a lot of people getting past the post count or spamming their way to the time. This probably makes quite a job for the admins to try and cut that down. Just my opinion though.

There will never be any such thing of limiting the new members on this site. The owner of this site is a business man, he has this site to make profit. The more members the more traffic he gets which means more ads viewed which results in more revenue.


This site isn't a privileged members only club.

because there are a bunch of people that joined after 2008 that have loads more knowledge to contribute than some of the people who joined prior to 2008...

There should be a basic/common sense quiz in order to become a member. Hopefully the owner will still get the traffic he's looking for, just with fewer retards.
