Whats Wrong With My DC5??
 

Well I was f*cking around in my ride today and its acting up now:dumbass:. For one it smells like sh*t, its a burning smell. It doesnt launch anymore, and when I floor it, the rpms go up fast but the car is not speeding up! It feels stupid slow and heavy like if I were hauling boat! I hope its the clutch, but I don't know?

Try looking in the vendors section on Honda-tech.
get some prices from there, and search locally at like Boostflow and Tri-tech and such......then compare!

should be ~$150 for OEM exedy clutch, pressure plate, alignment tool. you can probably get it by fri if you order this morning

lol i hope you werent somewhere on bell. i heard someone screaching their tires for a good half hour today. i was playing guitar hero and kept getting interrupted.

but ya if you gave it a good amount of time to cool down, and it's still doing the same thing, you'll need a new clutch at the very least, and if you warped your flywheel, obviously you'll need a new on of those too.

You can get the flywheel machined if it's not warped to bad.
And like everyone said you fried your clutch.

i got a act lightend flywheel and act 6 puck spung clutch and pressure plate for 606 off ebay and is great pain in the ass to install though

Just get a new k24 bottom end with a new clutch, car will be even more fun to drive and you will no longer need your e-brake to burn out. lol

Umm, but yah I got a clutchmasters light weight flywheel and exedy three puck sprung with hd pressure plate off of k20a.org. Best clutch I have ever used IMO.

I have a oem clutch with like 5k miles one it, pm me if your interested in it

I have Tages OEM K24 TSX clutch with 12k miles on it and not one sign of hot spots. I have the fly wheel too. Should work great in an RSX, is that whats in your avatar?
