seat fitment facts. - 1997 civic dx hatchback
I've did a little research ahead of time prior to making this thread. But I can't find accurate information.
Can 99-00 Civic si seats fit inside a 1997 dx hatchback? I'm getting a proper (sturdy) fitment = a NO. Due to the locking at the top of the back? What seats can fit inside of a 1997 dx hatchback? I have Ls front seats, which I absolutely LOVE. But I want some comfy back seats as well. OEM style preferred. :) |
the 99-00 civic si front seats will bolt into your hatchback
only 96-00 civic seats fit into 96-00 civics 92-95 civic and 94-01 integra front seats will be a bolt hole off in the back. 96-00 civic rails are easily swapped over to remedy this problem 96-00 hatch back seats are 96-00 specific but people have swapped frames over to get integra rears to work |
I knew that you would have some valuable input on this subject. Thanks for the input Chris.

It sounds like you're talking about rear seats so you'd have to use seats from a hatchback. So you could run ctr rears or possibly itr/integra rears (they bolt right into eg, not positive about ek though). You wont be able to use rears from a coupe like the em1 because the split is different. I believe its 50/50 hatch and 60/40 coupe and that's why they don't lock in properly.

already posted the hatch rear seat info
coupe seats do not 60/40. the whole rear seat folds down. a 96-00 4 door is 60/40 :devil1: |
